Is health food good for people?

Some people believe that by eating health food they are able to strengthen their chi; however, this is a dangerous idea because health food is like an herbal medicine which provides a quick and strong response which in turn stimulates the metabolism and circulatory system. In this way, people may feel wonderful at the beginning stages of trying these health foods, but a lot of the side effects will occur later. For instance, as the side effects of these health foods interrupt our natural metabolism and circulation systems, some people may feel tired, exhausted, uncomfortable, hyper, dizzy, frustrated, depressed, or suffer from an ideopathic disease. So, when we first start eating health foods it may appear to be strengthening our chi system and making us feel happy but later it will make us feel terrible because our yuan chi (original chi) has been used up and that is the most important problem.
