In the journey to enlightenment, we must let go of our ego and self-respect, and throw away our knowledge and experience. On the way, however, it is possible that after we let go, we lack enough energy to be reborn before we find our real face and real self.  This may result in our lacking self-confidence and being unbalanced.  When faced with such instability and uncertainty, how can we create more power for ourself and what should we do to improve this situation?

If you throw away your ego and knowledge, then you donˇ¦t need to care about much more.  Any instability you encounter after throwing away your ego and knowledge is temporary.  You just need to find something to help you become stable again.  Switching to a wu wei attitude (that is, working without using your mind or consciousness) is the best way to make progress to having no ego. This means you change the focus of the problem from being about your ego to one which doesnˇ¦t involve your mind or ego at all. This will lead  to partial success.  You will constantly need to change the focus as you clarify what the present problem you are experiencing is.  This requires more wisdom, which emerges when you have more internal power.  As you get more emptiness, you gain more ability to handle these things.  Some people, however, need to go through the same problem many times.
